Halloween

This year Chloe was big enough to pick out her own costume for Halloween. She LOVES the "Ten Little Ladybugs" book so naturally when she saw the red and black costume, she had to have it. I think she's about the cutest ladybug you will ever see!

Megan was the same thing she was last year -- a skeleton (inside joke for those of you who remember this being my profile photo on Facebook last fall).

We started the day by trick-or-treating at Memere and Grandpa's house in the morning. Chloe had the Halloween candy bucket all to herself and more than once transferred the whole thing to her treat bag. Hmmm. Funny how that happened.

Even though the East Coast got clobbered by Hurricane Sandy, we had pretty good weather on Halloween. I took Chloe around the neighborhood while Megan helped Daddy hand out treats. The little neighbor girls love coming to our house because we always have a super cute baby at the door handing out candy :-)

October Randoms

Mommy finally turned Chloe's carseat forward! She's getting so big! She loves the new view AND she loves kicking Mommy's seat :-)

Megan thought it was pretty funny to get on Chloe's bike. Daddy was right there to catch her.

It's a rough life being two.

Cider Mills!

Our first trip to the cider mill was on October 8th. Nathan had the day off so we were able to go late afternoon before it got too busy. Chloe especially had a great time because it has all of her favorite things...pumpkins, animals, space to be running-running-running, cider, and donuts.

Our second trip to the cider mill wasn't until October 21. It was a beautiful fall day and we decided to try a new place -- a farm. Unfortunately it was really crowded so we didn't stay long, but I think it will be a fun place to take the girls in the years to come.
