DeTour Village - Take 2

We had a long weekend in August (thanks to Uncle Sam and the Federal Sequester) so we decided to take another trip up to DeTour Village. This time we invited my Dad and step-mom, Chris to join us. Nathan's folks spend the summer up there so they were already at the cottage. We had beautiful weather over the weekend before some cold and drizzly weather stalled over us. 

 

At The Scenic

There's a site at the end of the street where someone is converting an old ship into a house. While Chloe was on a Gator ride with her grandpas, Nathan, Megan, and I took a ride down there and explored a bit.

The day we left it was so pretty! The sun was beautiful so I took the girls to the water for one last visit.
