February was a wild month for us. Of course, being 8 months pregnant, I had weekly doctor appointments. All was well with the new addition but she didn't show any signs of coming any time soon. We had scheduled a repeat c-section for March 5th (4 days before her due date) so we confirmed our plans to go ahead with the surgery.
We also had a lot of fun with our birthdays and Valentine's Day. My birthday was the 9th so Nathan and I had a rare dinner alone at The Melting Pot. We ended up going again on Nathan's birthday (the 26th) but this time we took Chloe. We were nervous about dealing with a toddler at a fondue restaurant, but Chloe did really well and is a natural at sticking food in cheese and chocolate. For Valentine's Day I made dinner at home -- lasagna for dinner and chocolate lava cakes for dessert. We also made chocolate malt chip ice cream and blue moon ice cream -- my favorites!
All in all in was a good month! We enjoyed the warmer winter weather and in general just spent some time finishing up projects around the house and just enjoying our last days as a family of three.
