Up North - 2014

We spent 9 days up at the family cottage with Nathan's family over the July 4th holiday. We took several trips to the local beach (aka "the scenic"), took Gator rides, played by the shore of the cottage, did some shopping. The kids made homemade Cheez-Its and chocolate chip cookies. We baked up a storm with "Crack" (saltines with caramel and chocolate melted on top), pies, and Flag Cake.  On Tuesday we took a trip down to Petoskey and on Wednesday we visited Castle Rock in St. Ignace. After climbing the rock we visited the cutest little hippie café called "Joe's Café" - the owner Joe even came out several times to speak with us. Thursday I ran/walked a 5K with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law and Friday we had all of our July 4th activities. It was a jam-packed week!

Below are some bonus shots taken by my sister-in-law and father-in-law. I hope everyone had a great holiday!
