Grandpa and Grandma said farewell as they headed South for the winter.
Time for Adventurer meetings! Megan helped the group by holding up the Law.
Earlier in the month Chloe had a karate test - she did great and got a new stripe!
Both girls got to host mom and dad at parent night at their school! We did some art together, plus math and practical arts.
We had a chance to go out to Maybury State Park a few more times. Sometimes we had nice weather, sometimes it was a little chilly! It's so fun to see how the woods change from Spring to Summer to Fall (and sometimes, back to Summer the next weekend!). Probably won't check out winter, though ;)
We checked out a new restaurant and rambled around downtown Northville.
It was chilly but we soldiered on! We stopped at the Farmer's Market and then the cider mill!
Thankfully it warmed up enough to visit with friends outside!
By Sabbath it had really warmed up - the weekend before it was like 30 degrees and freezing and now we didn't even have to wear coats!
The warmer weather lasted through the end of October, with the addition of a little rain. We had a busy month but it was a lot of fun!
