Sunday - Tuesday we just did a lot of hanging out. Each morning after breakfast Nathan and I took the girls on a walk. Chloe's favorite thing in the world is riding on the Gator or Razr so we also did a lot of that. Not to mention all the eating. Our big excursion was a trip to Sault Ste. Marie on Monday to stop at the Super WalMart and eat lunch downtown. We stopped by the Soo Locks briefly, too. Monday we had sand and rocks delivered to our beach so the kids could play down by the water. Nathan also lit some sparklers for the kids. Lots of relaxing. Just what we needed!
Aunt Melissa made Chloe her own special breakfast pancakes!
Picking flowers on a walk!
A big ship going by! That's Drummond Island in the distance.
This is the view of the cottage (left) and the shack (right) when you're at the water looking back.
And now for a few photos of us on our Razr ride. The street the cottage is on is about a mile long and we're one of the first cottages, so we like to take walks or rides to the end where it becomes a forest.
This is an old ship that people are renovating into a house!
Chloe playing on the beach grandpa built down by the water...
Finally some photos from Tuesday night. We had a super yummy dinner! Mozzarella Pesto Panini's with salad. Also, I'd made some Hawaiian Macaroni Salad that's one of my favorite sides. That night I went out on the dock and took some photos at sunset.
And that was the first part of our week in DeTour Village!
