Final Days Up North

We didn't spend much time at the cottage on Thursday. Late morning we went over on the car ferry and spent a little time on Drummond Island.  Then that night for dinner we went to Raber Bar about 20 miles away in the little town of Goetzville. It was crazy hot so we weren't there long. I actually took most of my dinner home because I was too hot to eat! (Now *that's* hot!)

Friday was our last full day Up North :-(  We hadn't made it out to any of the scenic spots along the highway (little inlets where you can walk and go in the water) so we made that our top priority for the morning. Megan stayed at the cottage with her grandma so Nathan and I could take Chloe. Nathan's brother, sister-in-law (plus her parents), niece, and nephew were also there.

Chloe was in heaven and was very "reluctant" to leave when it came time. We'll have to spend more time at The Scenic in future years!

Saturday morning we packed up the car and headed home from our week. It was sad to leave since it was so nice to be away from work and the daily grind. We had a good trip home, though, and enjoyed sleeping in our own beds that night.

Last stop before home! A rest area where we could change diapers and let Chloe run off some steam.
