Our lawn had a mid-life crisis this summer. We came back from our week in the U.P. to find that the lawn had died. We watered it. Seeded it. Talked to it. We did everything we knew to do. Finally in August we had our landscaper come out to take a look. The backyard looked like it might come back, but the front lawn was too far gone. Our neighbors had the same issue so we had the landscaper re-sod the whole area. By the time it was all said and done, it was the end of October but the lawn looked great. The kind of lawn you want to roll around on until you get grass stains all over yourself. Below are some photos of them working on it and the finished product. I didn't get a chance to get a before picture because the landscapers showed up early, but rest assured that it was thin, yellow, patchy, and gross.
